Eye pillows are a great aid to help you relax, intensify your meditation, or relieve eye strain after looking at a screen for a long time.
The pillows are filled with organic flaxseed which gently moulds to the shape of your face while offering light pressure that feels comfortable. The fabric is made from deadstock linen which would have otherwise ended up in landfill. Linen is one of the most sustainable fabrics with many great properties like being naturally antibacterial, fully breathable and, for those with sensitive skin or allergies to certain materials, linen is the best option because it is both hypoallergenic and also fluff-free. On top of that, linen feels super soft and light. Each pillow comes with a removable cover which can be washed.
The pillows are generous in size making them also suitable to use on your neck or shoulder to relieve muscle tension when heated.
You can choose between eye pillows with added organic dried lavender or without. The lavender aids natural sleep if this is something you struggle with and can also help with headaches.
The pillows can be used as they are but are also suitable for warm or cold use:
- Warm – heat the inner cushion in the microwave for 30-60 seconds on medium heat, perfect for relaxation and to relieve tension
- Cold – place the inner cushion in the freezer for 30 minutes, perfect for tired eyes or to cool down on hot summer days (also suitable for cats & dogs during heatwaves)
The eye pillows come in 4 lovely colours:
- Blue inner cushion & cover with darker blue freehand stitch detail
- Mustard inner cushion & cover with contrasting natural freehand stitch detail
- Natural inner cushion & cover with contrasting mustard freehand stitch detail
- Coral inner cushion & floral cover
